Breaking News – 16 November 2008 (14:00) : On 11 Novermber, Nine 88 Generation Group leaders including Min Ko Naing were get long term imprisonment 65 years again in Maubin prison same as previous Fourteen members of the 88 Generation Students Group. The Earth Times (Yangon): Two lawyers representing defendants from the opposition National League for Democracy (NLD) party have been arrested and sentenced to four months in jail on contempt of court charges, family sources said Saturday. Lawyers Aung Thein and Khin Maung were arrested late Friday night and sent to Insein prison where they face four months in jail, Aung Thein’s family members confirmed. More…
