NLD Youth Meeting Resolutions
The Meeting of Youth Reform Committee and State/Division Youth Assistance Committees was held on 26th March , 2009 as for second time at the Headquarters of National League for Democracy. Youth leaders discussed about current political situation, reform works and their current activities. The meeting set 7 points resulutions.

Meeting Resolutions
- To speed up the signature campaign for unconditional and immediate release of all political prisoners including U Tin Oo and Daw Aung San Suu Kyi who were detained for their political conscience.
- To submit signatures collected from members of National League for Democracy and people, including members of Central Executive Committee, members of Committee Representing People’s Parliament, leaders of ethnic nationalities, ethnic political parties and veteran politicians, for the release of political prisoners who were detained for their political conscience, directly to the General Secretary of the United Nations.
- To support the Opinion No. 46/2008 of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention which declared, ‘Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi’s placement under house arrest is arbitrary and contravened the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and even domestic law’ and its request to release her without any condition.
- To Support National League for Democracy’s Special Statement 3, 4 and the Statement No. 4/03/90 released on March 23, 2009.
- To accept the speech of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi delivered at a meeting for Youth Reform in Thingangyun Township on 4th October, 2002, as guiding principles of NLD Youth.
- To make a donation party on the last day of Thingyan (Water festival) and to hold a Ceremony for Paying Homage to Senior People on the Burmese New Year Day.
- To hold the Third Meeting of Youth Reform Committee and State/Division Youth Assistance Committees on 29th May, 2009.
